 This would be a cajun band, I think. The black disc should look enough like an old LP and the stem looked like the needle -- okay I may be halucinating :) The cut is a play on the music term and the Deep pepper vs. deep paper cut appealed to me. The Aussie Records is a tribute to my often photoed Austrailian Shepherd Bikkie.

Cropped, added text, cloned out dirt, applied neatimage, slid over the gray circles, added a thin border and resized.

"Cut?" How about Deep Pepper Cult? Whatever, nicely done. The vivid colors are quite arresting and the overall composition is striking! Nice job!

Well done.
Others with me when looking at these pictures thought that this image had a blatant phallus symbol in it.
I'm not sure. Excellent Macro shot. Love the colours.

I'm struggling with the band name. As for the photo composition, I think I'd like it better without the curving object down in the bottom. Seems like it'd be more effective using the whole corner for negative space.

Nice shot, but I'm not sure what the grey bit at the bottom is. I think I would have preferred it with just a black background.
