Very dark outside. Had all the rooms lights turned on with the exception of the fan. It was the only thing in the house I could count on to move as expected.

It's interesting that you captured both texture and motion here. The subject is a common object and one that may be overlooked by most, but your eyes found it and you captured it well.
The crop is a little too tight. The bottom lamp is too close to the edge of the frame, and 2 of the pull cords are cut off. It's not a major issue but detracts.

A bit more blur from the fan blades would of made this a sensation shot!. jgillard6
