Your histogram is a waving flag. I prefer this to Jasper Johns any day. |

Brilliant and sadly underappreciated by the masses. |

Never managed to make any comments in this challenge but I did vote. This was my equal highest score. I'd have said something nice about it.

This got my only 10. I really love this. And I see that Posthumus thought so too. Can't believe it placed so low. |

Originality: abstracting star/stripe ides of Independence Day without the cliche colors
Composition: excellent balance of light and dark, shapes and negative space, near symmetry with interesting variation
Narrative: allows viewer's imagination to play with what you present
Highest score in the challenge on my scale. Sorry to see my red bar at the upper end lacking appropriate company. |

This is a good example of why voting doesn't work. Bottom three? I had this as top three and I prefer it to at least two of the three ribbon winners. To each their own I guess. |

The torments of a nation, free of bellicose pride and nationalistic iconography |

I really like this. It is unusual, but I hope the voters see what we see. Nicely done. |

I see a star otherwise this abstract image does not indicate much to this viewer. |
