I agree I think it could work if you blurred out the background a bit and brought out more detail in the swan. |

I think the business of the background makes a good contrast with the bird - and its a good capture just at the point of grounding |

I find this shot quite humorous. Swans land so gracefully, and yet, take one moment in isolation and it could just as easily be struggling not to fall on its butt. |

Oh, I don't know. All I could think of was "Touchdown" and up flaps.
Some pilots could take lessons (and perhaps have) from that landing.
I don't mind the texture on the landing field. |

I actually kind of like this. The only drawback I see is the noise in the b/r. |

I think it looks very cool. Someone walked up behind me while I was looking at the image and said... "tell me that is NOT oil". Maybe you could soften the background a little to take out some of those noisy details... I really like it. Oh and of course I told her is was NOT oil! |

It could work if you can soften the background mud/water so there is not so much texture and process to bring out the texture on the swan. |
