As a stand alone image, not part of a challenge, this is a beautiful shot. The lines/curves remind me of the refraction of water underneath a small wave. |

Hmmmm. I suppose it could be interpreted as a variety of things. I have to say though, this one is not one that strikes my fancy all that much. But it is great to experiment. |

Great movement in this. Old school aurora borealis flowing over a kid hiding under the covers. nice contrast and tones. I'll be putting my pinhole together sometime this week, so I'm taking notes. |

The balance between whites, blacks & mid-tones is really nice in this photo. The softness from being a pinhole shot adds to its appeal. |

When I look at this image, the word imagination comes to my mind. It puts my mind in a thinking mode. |

The fresnel lens was an inspired choice for this challenge. |

I think it's a picture of cloth covering furniture, no it's a flag, no not that, it's nothing but shapes and tones and composition. I realise I just love this one and I click 10. |

Certainly an image worthy of contemplation. Beautifully done. But what's this? No magnifying glass visible in the image? Surely something's amiss. Surely this can't meet the challenge. Surely, I jest.
A nine for you, Shirley. |

It may have been shot through a magnifying glass but without part of it in the frame to show the difference of magnified and not I don't feel this image has met the challenge. |

Can't tell if there is a magnifying glass used here or not... |
