I think this is a flat-out fantastic portrait (of man and dog). The fire in the background offers a lot of context and gives the whole image a warm feel.

Nothing can get between a man and his dog, and a great photo to show that!
My only suggestion is that the background seems to be more in focus than the man or dog, which makes me pay more attention to the background. |
