Hey, I'm someboy's child and they still think of me as a kid!
-------- POST CHALLENGE -------
Opened presents, loaded up the ATV's, drove to the mountains and started riding & snapping photos.
What a bummer! Santa brought a new camera but he forgot to set the time and date. What sucks is that some little evil elf out there was lurking around, snooping in the photos properties during the challenge and found my photo said it was taken on 1/1/2010. Guess what they did? Of course - they notified the SC (Not Santa Claus...) and they asked for validation. At first I thought it was for an editing question. (I rarely use anything much beyond 'basic' rules) But when it got DQ'ed (not 'Dairy Queened' - unfortunately), it was then I realized the date on the camera was not set. I would love to know who that little evil elf is that asked for validation. Stand up and show yourself! Happy Holidays...

That's a real tick-off to say the least! :( It's a great shot! Interesting that someone would have asked for a validation on this shot as there doesn't seem to be anything to indicate that there was an editing rule violation anywhere in it that I can see and that would likely be the ONLY reason that someone would have asked for a validation???? Hmmmmmm.....????? Makes one scratch their head on this one. BTW...I agree with Digifotojo in the aspect that for the type of camera...it gives a great shot!!! :)

| Other than the horizon tilt, I like this. Might or might not be a bit of a shoehorn, but a strong image is more important to your average than satisfying everyone's interpretation of the topic. |
