I like the idea but the size of the photo will hurt you I think as its very hard to see the detail. Try and have the longest side at 640 pixles and at 72 dpi!

Hard to view the pic at this size. COuld be OOF focus. The light from the back is a touch harsh, a difuser of some sort could help

focus in foreground could be better. probably would be less distracting if there were fewer types of chocolate to look at. I do like the backdrop though.

Needs better setup and lightning. The image is pretty unsharp and to small. Also thing the closer angel where the dishedges would have gone out of the frame would have given a better expression.

too busy, too small. PM me after the comp and I can help with the sizing issues if you wish!

Dinner on a blanket? Choice of plates?

The lighting works well in this image. I feel it lacks a clear focal point though. There is a lot going on, a lot of colour and my eye doesn't find somewhere to rest. Perhaps a plain plate and having the items arranged to draw the eye toward one particular item would do it.

This photo, to me, portrays a very 'christmassy' feel to it - with the hollies and berries on the plate. It looks nice against the colourful chocolate beans. I would love to see the entire plate filled with only the beans, leaving the red dots and pattern on the plate surrounding them, all against a plain, contrasting coloured, unruffled background. But I'm no expert - just a thought.

We don't feel like Xmas today.

Seems awful small. You should use the full 640 allowed. It would show more detail. Looks like you should work on your lighting more. Seems like harsh light and shadows.

a little bigger gets more points...

a bit small to see what you have created here. looks a bit fuzzy but hard to tell -- Sorry I cannot offer any other comments. I'd suggest using the full 640 on one side to enlarge your entries

Awesome!
