nice detail in the splash, good depth of field.

Nice capture! I don't really like the colors, though. Still a great photo.

Very abstract. I like it.

This is pretty cool but the water images have been over done for this topic. I'm saving my higher votes for original pictures that do not use water.

I like the way this one turned out!

Beautiful rare Doughnut Effect with crown!. Stands out from other drops.

Good contrasting "textures" More color would've made it stand out more, I think.

one of the nicer water shots for mine. I like the shape the droplet has formed and the focus. Don't know if I needed to see the entire image tho (but that bubble at the bottom IS intriguing ... hmmm)

another very good water shot. 10

Perfect timing!

terrific shot, magically caught

very cool rim on that splash!
04/17/2002 06:00:00 AM
Nice focus! I think I would have liked it turned sideways better.
04/16/2002 02:27:00 PM
Great timing. I like the uneveness and the tint of the water.
04/16/2002 01:30:00 PM
I like the sharp focus contrasting the psychedelic pattering that you get in the water, only complaint, the center of interest is in the center of the picture.

Nice crowned splash. I think a tighter crop (more focus on the main splash) would've been more dramatic.
04/15/2002 07:52:00 PM
*Yikes* This is one very well timed shot. The splash pattern almost has an alien lifeform feel to it. Metallochrome coloring is nice, light is well-captured. Wondering if effect would have been more powerful if cropped into the splash.

Nice color...and interesting irregular shapes...

The color is different. I like it. If you look at it long enough it looks like a coffee mug. neat

This is a cool looking picture.

One of the better water shots. Nicely done.

the silvery tones work really well and as far as the water image submissions go, this one is my favorite for the abstract nature of the composition.
04/15/2002 07:52:00 AM
Pretty, but maybe tighter framing? Although the ripples around it are nice... I'm kind of torn.
04/15/2002 07:52:00 AM
Good shot, much better I think with the top portion cropped off a bit.
04/15/2002 07:46:00 AM
water.....again....
04/15/2002 05:22:00 AM
Excellent! Perfect timing, sharp focus, interesting composition. How many shots did it take to get this?
04/15/2002 03:25:00 AM
Very nice! I like this splash. There isn't much I can criticize on this photograph. The small bubble on the lower portion of the frame adds a lot to this shot. Maybe the only comment I could make is that the splash is dead center in the photograph. I wonder if it would have been more dramatic if it had been placed off center. It would have also been interesting to see a closer crop so that the splash occupies a larger portion of the frame. Great work!

Nice! Would have loved it if you were a lot closer, and the frame was horizontal.

Nice and sharp for the droplets. Good job.
