Great depth. Nice highish key treatment in B&W. Great photo.

Rather odd image. The road location is intriguing, but her pose - like one of those mud-flap cutouts - seems far too casual for a scene infused with danger and expectation. Gorgeous lighting, and a great photo, but something doesn't work for me.

Here's hoping she isn't sitting on some back road in Australia... since looking back would be in her best interest.

Nice shot. I can only assume that that little spot on the left hand side in the distance is a bus stop with someone walking towards it.

I like this...good luck to you.

Nice portrait that meets the challenge well, with some really nice lightening.
I think this would have done better if there was an answer to "Why is there a girl sitting in the middle of the road?". This way it appears fairly random...like "we have a road, we have a girl, lets do this". If you had provided a story for it (by placing some other object in the photo, or whatever) I think you would have resonated with the audience more strongly and it would have scored higher for me. Technically it is very sound. 6
