The shoot that almost didn't happen. My original idea included a mirror, a sunset... Instead, we got the biggest storm of the season. Wasn't sure what I could get from all the gray and mist. Heidi arrived with this umbrella. We had a blast.

Don't know what - if any - damage my poor camera endured, what with the sand and the water. I needed a windshield wiper for the lens, it was raining so hard. But it was an exhilarating experience, and I feel like a real "pro" now. Either that, or some troubling masochistic tendencies are beginning to surface.

Very, very nice. Whether by accident or on purpose, I like how the umbrella lines up with the horizon. Simple and elegant photo.

I SO want to crop this, either from the top or the bottom (except I love the shadow). That said, I love the color pink and I'll give it a 7

Did I say that offer was for you? I gave this a 5. Technically it's a bit dingy, but that's probably a product of your homogeneously gray sky, which I'm sure you would have chosen to be different if you could. Hope that helps.
