| technically, I would have framed it a bit to the left, and made the flag smaller. just to warn you, people haven't recieved flags very well here. |

| Another one of those damn flag pictures, and its on a pole, and you can see the whole flag, don't know how many times I've had to look at this. I can think of a million other ways of taking a creative flag picture. 1 get one of those hot chicks to wear an american flag bikini, 2 have the flag in free flight, 3 put it in a shredder, 4 Use a different countries or use that skull and crossbones one, 5 put it in water, 6 burn it, 7 close up for graphical detail, 8 get so many flags in huge pile that you don't know what to do wtiht them and decide eh that'd make a good picture, 9 have somebody stab anthor person with the flag pole( I think that shot won a pulitzer) 10. Have someone run with it. |

| Boy am I glad I pulled my version of this. Even the poles are similar but the wind was blowing the other way in mine. Yours has motion blur on the top red stripe at the end. |

| Hmmm... flags and crosses... flags and crosses.. I think I read how I was supposed to vote o this somewhere... lol.. anyway... Composition here is great. I need one of these on my wall at work. I am struggling with 'stopped motion' on this one. I'm not sure that it's the best subject for stopped motion. It is a good subject, but I'm begging for better. I love the photo, composition, and technical pieces, but I'm still begging for a better 'stopped motion' subject. |

| Doesn't this get the automatic '1' rating for being an american flag ? :) Good framing, nice and close. Also a nice clean background. Still a bit blurred due to motion though - a faster shutter speed might have helped. |

| this is a great picture, but a bit cliche. I like the ominous feeling of the clouds in the background rather than a blue sky, however. |
