 We had to put black cat down this month. This pic is of Little One. She was with Black Cat for all of her 14 years. A couple of days after Black Cat went, Little One started looking for him. She seemed a bit confused but seems to be dealing with the loss ok now. Took this pic with my Droid thinking that it pretty much caught what we are all feeling here in the Toole household - missing Black Cat. No high hopes for a big score here. Just very grateful to have an image like this.

Timfy, the composition is excellent. You've mastered light and many other aspects of photography. If you keep pushing the envelope with composition, you will be one hellck of an artist.

A painting that pulls me in before I think. Extraordinary, really, making full use of perspective, light, colour, composition, texture .... We wind up inside the cat. Finally I read and realize it is not snow and winter but the light of spirit on the other side.

The blown exposure of the window is very distracting as is the strange angle you have taken the shot from.

I think this would have been a great shot if you got down behind the cat and gave a perspective of what he was looking at. Just a thought.
