 Could be a male - I don't know how you check.
Not 100% happy with the composition but I like the overall idea of the shot.
Anyway, my daughter likes it so that's why I'm entering it. - Then I can blame her if it bombs, or thank her if it does well.

Fairly humdrum, and yet quite compelling. I like the control of exposure/development, and the detail, and the way it feels like a proper photograph, rather than a compendium of editing/processing skills. The progression of shading to black in the water and the sudden contrast of the swan is effective.

Simple but to the point. My eyes are constantly drown to the background instead to the main subject. So romantic and melancholic at the same time that I Dont care for the bird at all. Beautiful shot. 9

so the joy of life is to be a single white female? Can't quite understand that. Anyway the photo is magnificent, I like the reflection, the fog in the distance and the dark glow of the water, 10
