This is so obviously the best photo of the challenge, photographically speaking. I wonder if the DPC voters will realize that?
Just in case, I'll give you my own personal blue ribbon.
It goes great on the mantlepiece or with a spicy peanut sauce. |

Amazing shot, the reflection, the soft rays of light, the feeling of suspension, the murky bottom and the composition that has such a dynamic off-kilter feel. |

My pick for blue in this FS.
The fish, the swimmer, the light rays, the internal reflection on the surface, the grayscale, the composition, the unusual perspective, the border, the title - all of these outstanding elements add up to an amazing picture/presentation. |

Surreal feel to this and a great take. B&W works on this. Would be tempted to work on the image and brighten up the rays of light in the water. Unusual image. 8 |

border totally unnecessary. too heavy and detracts from image. too bad as the concept and execution of such a very difficult image should result in a 10. my guess this will ribbon anyway, so who gives a flip my opinion on borders eh? */* 7. gl |

love this shot with the wild life etc, but I'm wondering what the color version looked like. Could be that maybe the light rays wouldn't have shown up as good or something, overall very well done I enjoyed it thanks. |

Lovely image - made me think of this one:
Makes me want to get an underwater housing.
The figure and reflection is interesting enough in its own right but with the dolphins below it is flat out amazing. Very bold choice to go monochrome too.
A 10 from me. |

If this doesn't make the front page....
From a purely technical view, there are many flaws in this image. The lighting is a little murky, the man is a bit blurry, etc. But all together, it is spectacular. Having swum with wild dolphins, I can attest to their magic. |

I love this both for it's b&w treatment and simple beauty. I do think the divers pose is a little awkward though. |
