 This was a tough challenge for me. I went to shoot on a few different occasions and never really came back with what I wanted. I assume there will be some awesome water horizon line entries, but there is no body of water around here large enough to have a horizon line, so I had to create my own by perspective. Took several shots and I always came back to this one. It works much better in b&w too.

I love the light in the foreground and the way it contrasts with the dark sky in the background. The solitary figure of a man on the path combined with a striking and meaningful title takes this image to another level.

Wonderful location. Usually I love b/w, but in this instance, I'm wondering if going in color might have been stronger. Love the sense of scale here, Maybe a tiny bit of dodging on the man and the area to camera left, just to pop him a TEENSY bit more.
