Wasn't going to enter this one but then while we were out at the Christmas tree farm I noticed these trees on top of the old landfill. Cloudy day so ... I kind of liked the moodiness of the scene. If you look closely you can see supports for one of the trees. It's very windy up there!
PP - tonemapped in qtpfsgui (pregamma 0.697, mantiuk method, contrast mapping 0.1, saturation factor 1.029, detail factor 1), merged with original at 20% transparency in multiply mode, duotone, cropped, levels, increased contrast, gradient on upper sky, cloned out flag amongst the trees, resized, sharpened, added border. |
