Recently I've seen a lot of people using multiple exposure photos and creating some really interesting effects. I wanted to give it a try on my new camera, and decided this would be the perfect opportunity to implement it. The liquids are hot cocoa and milk. I just used a dark wall as the background so that none of the pieces of the photo would be washed out. I know the name sounds funny, but as I was trying to think of how to do this shot I day dreamt that it would be much easier and fantastic if I could take it in space with the liquids floating about freely, which reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey and subsequently the docking scene where the Blue Danube Waltz played. I ended up humming the song for the three hours I spent working on the shot.

Can you elaborate on how this was done? How did you accomplish the multiple exposures?

gloriously done. My only criticism is that the transparency further back of the brown liquid, while accent the drip, destracts the eye.

Interesting Idea. I really like the textures. The more I look at it the more I like it. Its a really unusual image. I can't put my finger on what it is about it that I like. There's a harmony about it that is really appealling.

I wish some photos could be explained because I don't really understand yours. I don't find the picture over appealing and don't see the connection to this challenge. if you could explain this to me it may get a better vote.

Voting on the images has been really quite tough, the standard has been really low in my opinion - either images with poor technique, or just really plain ideas. This image stands out quite a bit, it certainly lacks a little depth, but quite refreshing to see something different.

It's definitely very interesting. But the one on the right looks a little too blurry and I'm not sure if the blue tinge on the outline of it is intentional.

This almost seems naughty... this is a great photo! I'm not sure if I like the blue tint or not. I'm torn on that. Great composition though!
