Oh, I just love this shot! The empty foreground and the darkness almost seem like you are secretly viewing this hidden place for select eyes only. I don't know if it has a touch of Topaz (as I don't have but want), but the almost glow is fabo! Excellent shot! |

Fantastic shot. I like it more each time I see it. It feels like the viewer is part of the image, lying on the floor. |

not sure why, but the empty images to left and center (and the darkness on the bottom) make the flowers on the right all the more poignant. I think the perspective gives this power.

This is special. I've tried to analyze why, but can't quite articulate it. Anyway... |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: This is lovely - the slight glowiness, the way the flowers are tucked away in the corner - the foreground negative space that forces us to keep our distance and creates a sense of furtiveness... all very effective. The toning is particularly nice too.
Critical stuff: Nothing.
Overall: I really like this. The empty bottom half of the image makes it for me. |

The creaminess of these tones is delicious. Love the light, and how it leads the eye to the flowers. |

I̢۪m loving the low lighting and perspective of this shot. |
