 At a rest stop South of the Oregon border, just passed through a storm and it was 42 degrees outside and windy. Perfect time to take a photo, especially while the rest of my shivering party waits for me in the truck! A random guy passes by while I am shooting... Good Shot, he comments... I wonder if he and I am looking at the same thing...

Not much processing, increased the definition and brought out the highlights, bumped the saturation, but heck, what would people criticize if I didn't push the saturation?

I thought it was a nice commentary on the decline of this once pervasive element of our society. Expect to score in the high fours, but lowering my expectations has calmed me in many ways while learning what I can from this site.

Indeed, so many of them are.... :)

Seriously, I must have checked out 20 different payphones for this challenge, and I think two might have been in working order...

Some perspective correction would have helped this image quite a bit.
