| I know most every one thinks this is just a photo... but for me it was pushing the limits, LOL... I did stuff that I've never done taking this and post processing.. OMG it's a single image HDR my hands were shaking while I was doing it.. Sooo for some one who shoots crisp clear and ahemm TOO TIGHT this was my very best at getting wild!!! |

| The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it̢۪s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. | Love the scene. The colors are amazing, and it's well composed. I don't know how well it fits into the challenge theme, but then again, I don't really know what fits the theme on this one, so I'll still give a good vote. |

Lovely photo, although you've lost detail in the shadows. What was black and is now sepia toned, appear more like inkblobs (lower right tree line for example). Somewhat oversharpened also, which makes the foreground grass have speckles and the tree branch intruding on the middle far right is especially prominent as to being excessively sharpened. Based on what I'm seeing in regards to post-processing this photo may have been a strong candidate for some lightly applied HDR to handle the various ranges of light/dark.
In a way, it's a shame that I've commented so much on the processing. The setting is beautiful and the light looks to have been pretty interesting overall. Would love to see the original on this. |
