I like the direction you took this, and as far as meeting the challenge I give you an 11. There is going to be tough competition for this challenge though, good luck.

love the concept, good contrast. to me would have been even better with the foreground cropped out.

love the title and the lighting, on the downside i would personally half the amount of foreground bank maybe just past the big rock in order to improve the image.
The pink part of the sky is showing contour lines (thats the technical term to me anyway).
overall a great shot just outside my top ten.

Awesome photo. Excellent mood. So grimy and oily and full of sludge, with great colors as well. Still going through them but it's my favorite so far.

The clouds aren't really the dominant feature of the shot IMO, however an interesting shot all the same.
