 Sort of a backwater of the lake, this area is known as Fairyland, but it doesn't look very fairylandish at the moment. The water is choked with leaves and looks thick and muddy. But the little ducklings were swimming in it before they came back up to their mother.

These little ducklings are darling. I so cute to see them snuggling up under the mother. Too bad the background is so busy and so similar in color to the ducks.

I use my Power Shot for wildlife too, because I lose too many opportunities by not having the right lens when I use a DSLR. Still bothered by the noise, but I'd rather capture the shot and deal with the problems later.
