COMPOSITION - Composition was good CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL - The glass and its contents were well lit and taken.
YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - this image was spoilt for me by the overpowering background which detracted from the main subject The blue fizz. I feel this shot would have placed higher with a more subtle background

Nice lot of blue in this photo, although I think it would all look better against black. The fizz bubbles look really neat, but you need to be aware where you are pointing your light, and try not to get it glaring off the glass into the camera.

Good news! I like this better today, than when I first voted. I think it's the background that I just don't care for, it's too similar to your subject. Score started out as a 6, lets go up one to 7! Swash

Like the colors. Wish there was more seperation between the top of the glass and the background, still a good shot.

Not bad. Not the best but much better than average.

While you have a good idea and well executed capture, the shot lacks the flare to keep the viewer's attention. The single light source comes from the top and fails to define a clear contour of the glass itself. Instead it blends in with the background and renders the sparkling bubbles uninteresting. The green reflection of light at the neck of the glass is annoying as it keeps drawing the viewer's eyes away from the cherries and the bubbles, which I think was your intention of showing the most. Suggestion: Macro shot of the cherries, off-centred, while including some of the bubbles fizzing up, would have made this a more interesting capture. 6

Fantastic colours, lighting, background and fizz! Would have cropped off that tiny bit of dark on the left bottom corner though.

A bit too over-contrasted/sharpened/pixelated.

Feels just slightly unlevel and uncentered. Good lighting. Did the CD help create an effect, or is it just there because it's blue?

Interesting... is that a cd the glass is standing on? I feel this could have been more effective with more dramatic colors, and not quite so centered... though The cherries help a lot... Good try, and good luck!
