I know, I know, you must have had to sharpen it a lot because the bird was probably a little blurred. But the white halo, specially around the beak, is really distracting. Superb moment though, well worth hand-editing to get rid of the halo - 7

Scoring just cause you managed to capture a hummingbird...

A little grainy and a little oversharpened. It also might be a little too much contrast with the sky. Good capture and a great idea and almost a really good shot - 7

Birdieeee looks like birdieee is forced into some background birdiee doesn't know about. Point is, know when to stop fooling around with digital tools. The very essence of your energy and time is destroyed by using a few tools in an image editing software. That's not creativity. That's more like the very opposite. Your idea was brilliant and your timing was pefect. It was the post-processing that destroyed it. Go easy on the tools. A good shot is a great start. You are only editing it because you want it to loook better.

Not that I don't understand your idea, but this doesn't scream balance to me. Little more focus needed to bring out the details. Best of luck.

Great shot of a hummer, and yes, he's maintaining balance. maybe a tad oversharpened, but still worth a l0
