Thank you, Bohemka, for favourable comments. The apparent sharpness in this picture is, I believe, mostly due to the clear sky and low angle of the sun. And maybe also that I used live view with mirror lockup that goes with it. Sure, I sharpened the picture in Ps. after resizing, but the texture in the feathers got all screwed up, so I faded sharpnrss to ca. 65%.

Very nice image that would have also worked well in the reflection challenge I believe. Nicely composed, especially considering the challenge. Square(ish) crop was a really nice idea. Lovely colors and tones. I think I need a sharpening lesson from you. Very well done.
