| Wow - how gorgeous! Huge congratulations! Wonderful to see such a moody monochromatic shot get the recognition it deserves. Everything here came together perfectly - that tree on the right is just the right shape, the leaves on the ground and the reflected light drizzling through, the fog swallowing your stranger. And the composition is dead-on to take advantage of all these elements. Wonderful! |

I really like how spooky feeling this is. The squiggle in the reflections really add to that end. I might've liked to see the stranger a bit more right of center with more of the walkway to the left, so further pull us into the scene, but very good as is.

| I've been sitting, staring at this image for a long time. I am hypnotized by it. To me, this is a perfect image, offering tidbits of delight in every pixel, from the glistening trails across the lined path, the geometry of the bands of light, the glow of the lights seeping through the delicate branches, the fog, the figure, the graceful shapes they all create. This is MY blue ribbon. |
