 This was taken last summer in the Philippines. The bus we were riding in broke down so we had to get out and wait on the side of a road/shallow cliff. Everyone was irritated but I wasn't because the view around was spectacular. We had to wait almost an hour for another bus to come and get us but I did get some awesome pictures. =)

I love it when the view makes the humans so small. It's rather symbolic of how tiny we really are in the big scheme of things. There is an old song "Long Ago and Far Away," which immediately came to mind. Most images bring a song or a lyric into my head. I love that. Here are the lyrics:

I love how we almost miss seeing the people on the beach. The natural framing from the tree branches is wonderful

I love this, the color (and texture) is so film-like and there is a very summery feeling to it. Some interesting boats down there, too :).

Yes, beautiful! you could almost feel lucky, to be stranded for an hour. "D I've never been, but I hear the Philipines are beautiful.
