 Shot with a mild fisheye and 2 x ND8 grad filters to give the sky some punch.

A lot of these old cranes were used to build destroyer and cruiser class ships during WW1 and WW2. There's also loads of old tunnels and sandstone buildings to explore on the island, some dating back to the 1830's.

I'm not sure it has or ever had charm. An interesting relic anyway.

Cool photo, well spotted, air raid shelter is a classic image even in the mind. Nice perspective.

And 1940's charm reminds me of all the crappy apartments I used to look at when searching for a place.
