Fascinating how that figure comes to a sharp point and is reflected. What is it? A giant spinning top? A huge ice cream cone? A human? And it's placed perfectly in that arch. A true enigma in b&w. |

Dear nixter, with you "less is more", your photos may look "simple", there's no shrillness, no excess in the editing and so many of us fall trapped into stories, memories or dreams induced by your art. |

I am always amazed by how little information they eye requires to embroider an elaborate story. Mind-numbingly fabulous, Nick. |

I recognize this place - this is fantastic - you've got such a great eye and way of putting these textures and layers together. |

Oh wow. I love that song "Out of Nowhere." Here is a Classic version by Charlie Parker.
You came to me from out of nowhere
From out of nowhere.
You took my heart
And found it free.
Wonderful dreams
Wonderful schemes
From nowhere
Made every hour
Sweet as a flower to me.
And if you should go
Back to your nowhere
Leaving me with a memory.
I'll always wait for your return
Out of nowhere
Hoping you'll bring your love to me.
When I least expected
Kindly fate directed
You to make each dream of mine come true.
And if it's clear or raining
There is no explaining
Things just happen and so did you.
You came to me from out of nowhere
You took my heart and you found it free.
Wonderful dreams, wonderful schemes from nowhere
Made every hour sweet as a flower to me.
And if you should go back to your nowhere
Leaving me with -- with my memory.
I'll always wait for your return
Out of nowhere
Hoping you'll bring your love to me. |
