So who can tell me where Hy Brazil lies?

Several months ago we had the good fortune to set sail on a tour cruise on the tall ship Privateer Lynx The experience was awesome.

I took this picture as we were taking the ferry back to the mainland after our sail.

5 Layers overlayed on the original.

Layer 1 The old paper texture with the swirl pattern is Texture Online: Paper Texture 65

Layer 2 , Layer 3 the compass rose, Layer 4 the island, Layer 5 the text Hy Brazil which is a mix of Vivaldi and Tolkien fonts.

The map overlay is great -- really in keeping with the ship.

All the parts fit so nicely together! 5 layers could be really busy but you mastered the blend really well. Great job!

You got me on the Brazil thing.

Loving old maps though. They make for such interesting lines and wording for a layer. Yo ho ho!!!
