 This is Peyton, sweet little 9 year old daughter of good friends.

She doesn't speak much at all. Smart, beautiful, and engaging though.

All images shot with the Olympus Pen and 20mm 1.7. DOF a real challenge, but I like the effect.

Hey - A Posthumous ribbon! I never thought I'd win one of those.

There wasn't much set up to this. All natural lighting from a window in her parents bedroom. She is a joy to be around. The high key effect was done by duplicating the base layer and applying the black and white filter to the top layer, then adjust the layer opacity so some of the color comes through.
