| This is beautiful. I spent a lot of time this fall photographing crickets and grasshoppers, or trying to. This is a lovely rendering of filigreed wing and mosaiced head and thorax. And bvy is right about your greens. |

Oh, Crik, the color is beautiful! Good clarity and focus too. Very nice.
The blue and white blur on the right pulls my eye away from the cicada. I'm wondering if cropping the right a bit, might make this marvelous image stronger. Or now that the challenge is over, you could try removing the white spots. |
