 Actually, this was taken at 2:43 pm which is close enough to the harshest of light. I used a circular polarizer filter and a soft edge, .9 graduated neutral density filter, and a lot of post processing to bring out some detail in the layers of mountains in the background.

Curious that a challenge description that specifies using "post processing choices" to overcome limitations would limit those choices to basic editing rules. I really could have done a lot more with this photo if this was run under advanced editing rules. Oh well, we are all playing by the same rules...but still...
