This is absolutely spectacular! Inspires me to get out this summer at our local pool and shoot the dive team. |

Just to answer Chicagrafo's question, yeah, I tried this exact shot maybe 6 or 7 times and this is the closest I could line him up to the board. It probably had something to do with the fact that the block i was hanging off of wasn't exactly centered with the board. Appreciate the criticism though, really. |

Would have worked better in vertical or portrait orientation.
Did you have problems aligning the diver with the board? Symmetry would have given an extra punch |

Wow, you roommate should get a piece of the ribbon for doing that for you. I voted 9 on this, really liked it, glad it ribboned. |

I called this to ribbon, and I'm glad it did. I do agree with Robert here though that the landscape orientation was a little awkward to the eye. Not that it's a bad thing because it can add to an image as much as take away from it. In this case it more than likely helped as you got your ribbon which again...I knew you would. LOL. :) Congrats!

Excellent photo. Great composition and orientation. Great tones and color linking the board and his speedo. Nice one. |

I wish that he had a little more room in front of him. Part of me likes the feel of almost leaving the frame, but a larger part just feels squished. Doesn't affect the vote; I'm just thinking out loud. :) -7- |
