 Dream Lake, RMNP. 7:20 AM 10/21/10. HDR. A rare morning of still wind allowing a mirror reflection on the lake.

For those who think this is not a dream of mine, you've got to be kidding. I dream of this situation of long wavelength light on the peaks reflecting in a mirror lake all the time. My dreams are just like this.

This is a blend of three exposures. 2.0s, 1.0s & 4.0s. The new HDR Efex Pro from NikSoftware is a big jump forward for HDR images. It's the U-Point technology and the powerful processing power of the 64-bit technology which makes HDR Efex Pro a superior product to PhotoMatix. I use HDR Efex Pro as a plug-in for Aperture 3 on my Mac Pro. Aperture 3 has also taken a huge step forward in recent months.

Post challenge: Evidently, voters felt this did not look dream-like. All I can say is the television stereotype of a "dream" is not the way my dreams look.

You expert photographers realy give me photo envy. I get the sense of dream and you got me on wowness. I guess I just can't leave you with a lower rating than 10. Thanks...Oops...I just found one besting yours by a hair. sorry I had to drop you one. Good luck.

The entry itself feels more like a shoehorn than an attempt to capture a dream, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
