 Oh so very last minute. Very quick session done about 30 minutes before roll-over. When I saw the run in the nylons.....I LOVED it. I was hoping it was not going to hurt me to much....but I think it gives the image a bit more character, to otherwise a pretty mundane image. I do wish the shoes were a bit more worn. Thanks for the votes.....really didn't expect a ribbon out of this.

I can see why someone thinks the run in the stocking is distracting -- it is -- yet it's so perfect. It makes turns it from a regular (but nice) photograph into a great story. You and jbrobeson are right, however. The shoes should have been more worn. Not that it's a problem in this photo -- but just because, if the shoes were worn and there was a run in the stockings, you probably would have had a picture that was an instant classic.

great light, nice composition, i can't decide whether i like the run in the stocking or not - maybe i'd like it more if the shoes looked more worn as well

Its easy to get bored with pictures of ballet shoes. But I loved this one the difference between me rating it a 6 and the 8 I gave it was the run in the stocking good job.

I really like the composition and lighting you chose (having the background partially lit helps the overall composition, I feel). It's too bad that run in the legging is visible, that really hurts the continuity of her legs.

Probably the most beautiful of all the entries. Tack sharp focus. I like the run in her tights. The smokey area to the left puts some interest into the negative space and yet we are still drawn to those perfectly pointed toes. 10
