 The resident dog at the lodge had puppies. I helped her during her long, difficult birth, and I've been spending hours with her and the puppies every day to help get everyone fed. I couldn't spend that much time with them and not photograph them!

Very cute. A bit less flash (or light) would have helped achieve more softer effect. The strong light overpowers the mood of the photo.
