 High Bridge near Farmville, VA was the largest bridge in the world when it was originally built in 1852. After being heavily damaged by a fire set by the Confederate Troops during the Civil War the bridge was rebuilt in 1870. The bridge is scheduled to become a part of the rails-to-trails program in the near future.

I first shot this location at mid-day, but the harsh lighting left the pictures un-usable. As a result, I revisited the location this morning at sunrise to get the light hitting the bridge.

I am new at photography and this is my first submission. Any constructive feedback will be greatly appreciated.
