 Self portrait: this is mostly how I look on week days, since I go to work on my bike. It's always fun to meet new people in this outfit, one does get noticed ;-)

Setup:
- 1 softbox from the left as strip
- 1 softbox from the right as strip
- 1 speedlight + blue gel on background
- 1 speedlight + silver umbrella frontally as fill

Very nice shot. However ... is this really 'fill flash'? It looks like 100% studio lighting to me? Maybe I just don't understand the term 'fill flash' ... anyway, very nice photograph. Congrats!

All I can say is that DPC is a fantastic place to learn photography. Just look at my very first photos on my flickr account... I was proud of them at the time! ;-)

This is one seriously hot dude!!! Awesome work as usual. The lighting is dramatic and delicious. The highlights on the jacket add interest to the dark right, and the patterned and shiny helmet to the left. Subtle fill is killer. Front page. As usual :-)

I'm not a lover of fill flash personally, but this certainly has a professional edge. Looks like an ad photo in a glossy mens' magazine. Well done.

I like the concept , a couple of little niggles that hurts the score , the visor could have been cleaner , the chin strap hidden better and a little sharper on the models face , the overall shape and balance in the picture is good.
