 The Rainbow Bridge in Fort Morgan, one of the famous Marsh Arch Bridges, one of the largest in the United States and the only one of this type in Colorado. This reinforced concrete 11 arch bridge, spanning the South Platte River, was built in 1923 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located on State Route 52 one mile north of Fort Morgan, which is 80 miles northeast of Denver via Interstate I-76.

I converted to b&w using the monochrome mixer in Apple's Aperture. There were some distracting things about the color version, like the sky color (due to the polarizing filter) and the vegetation (mixed dead and live) and the rust from the lamp post (bright rust color). The 0.20 sepia tone is appealing to me and I like the toned monochrome better than the color version.

This is a good subject but with the weeds being prominent in the bottom right corner I would have shifted my position to make the bridge more horizontal.
