 Used a set of pins circa 30 years old, empty onto black marble chopping board.
Used my mag adaptors and tried to get as much in focus as possible.

Did not see the hair whilst taking the shot, v.annoying as it was in the centre of the shot.

Raw process.
Crop.
High Pass sharpen filter.
Reduce noise.

perhaps a better focal point would have been the close edge of the hair - since thats the subject of the title
