Hmmm, I like what you were going for with the subject, I just don't think it worked super well. Some things to consider: Try to keep power lines out. Maybe get a little closer to the subject to show more details in the stalks.

lots of corn on a bright sunny day - this image may have benefitted from being shot at a different time so that the lighting wasn't so harsh and so there might have been some shadows
