Greetings from the Critique Club
First Impressions:
What a beautiful photograph! That's totally it - my first impression!
Technical (Comp, lighting, color, focus):
clear sharp focus, perfect time of day for the lighting in this photo, outstanding colors, the only thing I see wrong in the composition is really just nit-picky stuff which could be quickly taken care of in the slightest of crops on the left hand (looking at image) side....as I said in an earlier comment to remove that gravel(?) on the bottom left which would also take care of the wire that someone else caught and mentioned in another comment.
Challenge:
Don't think you can get much more country than what you've captured.
Artistic/Emotion:
Artisticly this is simply stunning.
Emotionally it makes me wanna walk down the slope and get to work!
Summary:
It's in the top 10! That pretty much sums it all up! ;-)
This is indeed a wonderful entry. Thank you for sharing it with us. :-)
edited to fix the tag ;-)

Congratz with being in the top ten. I did think it was going to ribbon as I mentioned in my comment during voting.

Wonderful shot. Nice, clean processing. Sharp, but not overly. The range jumps out of the picture. how badly did you want to clone out that wire in the top left? ; ) No matter. 10 |

fantastic capture, contrasting moods captured very well. keeping the mountain within the frame has worked out very well lending into the depth, nice shot |

I like the viewpoint of this. Beautiful valley type of scene. |

Awesome scene, but watch your JPEG compression. The file size is a little on the smallish side for the amount of detail here, and I can see the beginning of compression artifacts around the edges of the mountains. I'm probably the only one anal enough about compression to notice that, however. |

The only suggestion I have is a small crop on the left side (as your looking at the image) to get rid of that gravel (?) |

Quite an awesome view, although the whole image looks oversharpened to me. |

This captures the high country very well. You've split the ratio of low-land pasture, mountain and sky beautifully. Congratulations. |

Stunning vista with lots of depth. Those snow capped mountain peaks are absolutely beautiful and the rural landscape in the foreground is so inviting. Your processing and the fine detail really makes it complete. One of my favorites for a ribbon here. 9 |

I love the way you composed this shot. The mountains carry a lot of weight in this shot so using more of the farmland balanced them really well. Nice job. |
