Critique Club
First look....cute, natural.
Good composition. Texture of the fur, and blue jeans. The colors go together and are well balanced. I'm not crazy about the white base, only because it's a bit harsh and too strong of a contrast. Nice focus and DOF.
Over all it's a good photo with an interesting subject. |

| Well isn't he a cutie!! My only nit pick is that the white sheet, and the white under his nose is a bit bright. otherwise, I love the focus and clarity. the angle and framing/cropping are great, and the lighting on the subject himself is good. Definately blue. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Wow - how cute is this? One of the best animal photos I've ever seen - how could you not look at that face! Technically - not real knowlegable yet - but looks to me like photo has great clarity, focus and is nicely composed. Great job! |

What a wonderful image!
I love the texture of the denim next to the softer fur of your little critter.
The harsh white lighting really makes me think of coming out of a blue funk and into the light again, as it were. As you can see, for me this photo is about more than what is initially there. It isn't just a photo of a mouse under your trousers!!
I suspect a number of commenters will tell you the lighting is a little too harsh in the way it bounces onto his underside, but I like it that way.

| I love it. This really is one of my top 10. It is perfect in everyway photographically and after all that is what we are voting on - quality of photography. Also within the challenge of "blue" and you got that. Good, no, great job. PTL If it's top 10 it deserves a 10. |

| something about the bright white at the bottom of the picture... maybe a different color or more of the denim or something not so glaring? otherwise a great picture, good composition and focus. |

ok, thats hitting below the belt for using the cute factor! but hey, great macro while your at it! but the power of such a great macro takes away from the blue jeans, and blue is the theme here!
