This was the only 9 I gave, I just adore this shot! really envoked emotion! Sorry not to see it at 1 or 2 but still a very excellent finish! Congratulations!

Very good looking image. Makes me think of old film images from Life magazine. Contrast is spot on and that's why it looks like film I think.

haha, no worries about that. I always that it's easier to get a ribbon than score a 7 average :)

Without the context of a newspaper article or further explanation I find this image difficult to evaluate - i would probably mark higher if i knew what i was looking at - perhaps the title might have been more explanatory ? Good shot all the same but hard to score.

I wish you had pulled up the whites a bit more to add a bit more contrast. As it is now, the brightest parts of the image are still very grey. Still, nice photo and composition.
