 Entry #1. I do enjoy high key of Rowan. I had to look back to see how many I have entered in the past. Not as many as I had thought. I will probably get dinged for being repetitous in challenges, but I dont think i really care when it comes to pics of my kids. My last high keyish entry was of my boy ( a first for him as I usually go dark) and we ended up getting it printed as a 16x20 canvas. I kicked myself for not doing a similar shot with the same lighting that day of Rowan. So this one will have to do. The challenge gave me a reason to shoot a counter image for a canvas in the home.

Hopefully this looks on others monitors as it does on mine. High key all the way with nothing but slight (very slight) patches on her forehead and cheek that remain white on a full black levels slide. Lets see how it does. My guess is a 6.3.

Whooh hooh. She looks good on the front page. Only thing better is if her brother was up there with her. Lets see what tomorrow holds. ;)

Looks fantastic and Congratulations. I've been away from the site for awhile and it was a pleasant surprise to see your work on the frontpage AGAIN! The wife and I just welcomed our 6th child, Aiden Michael, to the world and I am itching to get back behind the camera. Hopefully you'll see some of my work on the front page in the near future!

I know you've been having a discussion with someone else. But this is definitely high key, imo. Doesn't matter that the eyes are dark -- just the majority has to be over 50% grey.
