 I ended up going to the airport after work. The sky looked like rain could come in, but I went regardless. I had an hour of shooting planes, then some storms arrived in the distance. So I concentrated on them instead. Camera was on a tripod with a shutter release. I used my burst drive and just let it rip. Occasionally trapping some strikes. Thankfully the main storms stayed in the distance. Keeping me and the gear, relatively dry.
