 This photo is taken on the pier of Zurich Lake some time before sunset. My first idea was entering the "Photojournalism IV" challenge but then I saw that it was Minimal Editing challenge and I missed the date. But luckily this challenge came up, and I thought it will be a good entry. As for the "unusual" crop I have two reasons:I couldn't physically get behind this guy because of the lake, and from this point of view if I rotated the view to the right than the band would be at the end of the frame. So this is like my little experiment. Hope you like it!

Love this, don't think it needs the border though. Love the framing and blur and the story. Meets the challenge well and is well done.

Great shot! It's cool that your depth of field is just enough so we can make out that it's a band.

I really like how the eye goes first to the hand, then explores the image up the arm to his face to see where he's looking. Nicely seen.
