Light seems a bit harsh on the dog's coat.
No light in the eye/s makes the image a bit flat IMO. |

if the kids would of been in the background I think it would of make the challenge more, as it stands its a portrait of a dog, the title is what connects it to the challenge - 5 |

For animals and other subjects that are low to the ground I would suggest getting low with your camera. Eye level or lower with subjects like this really help the look of the shot. Also the light seems harsh, mainly due to the strong shadow cast on the wall. I would say to bounce a flash off of something or diffuse the light in some way. The crop is also a tad tight and part of the dogs ear is chopped. |
